Fees and Insurance

The standard fee for a 50-minute psychotherapy session is $190, payable at the time of service. Initial intake sessions are billed at $250, reflecting the comprehensive nature of the evaluation, which includes extensive documentation review, care coordination, and potential referrals. 

Sandbar Psychological Services operates as an out-of-network provider for all major insurance carriers. Clients are provided with a detailed receipt that can be submitted to their insurance provider for potential reimbursement. Clients are strongly encouraged to contact their insurance company directly to verify their specific out-of-network benefits prior to beginning treatment.

A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required for all appointment cancellations. With the exception of unavoidable emergencies, a $75 fee is assessed for late cancellations or missed appointments.

Completion of forms, reports, letters, and other paperwork outside of regular treatment sessions may incur additional fees. Clients will be informed of any applicable charges in advance.
